CT for Syncope

Avoid for uncomplicated syncope.
Document why one was done (head injury, etc).

Initiation of Sepsis Bundle

Initiate as noted in Sepsis section.
Document why the bundle was not initiated.

US in Pregnancy

For patients aged 14-50 with vaginal bleeding or abdominal pain for purposes of localizing the pregnancy.

Thrombolysis for CVA

Document last known well.
Document thrombolysis given and when OR document why not given.

ABX for Bronchitis

Avoid abx in general.
If given, document why (COPD, etc).

ABX for Sinusitis

Avoid abx within 10 days of symptom onset.
If given, document why.

ABX for Acute URI

Avoid abx in general.
If given, document why (COPD, etc).

ABX for Otitis Externa

Avoid systemic abx.
If systemic abx given, document why.
